TFB is born
2010
Tools for Brokers was founded. Alexey Kutsenko, the CEO at TFB, set up his own company with an ambitious goal – solving brokers’ technical issues, helping them focus on business and to scale faster.
Fun fact: Many of the employees hired back then are still working with us, and we couldn’t be happier!
Expansion of TFB solutions
2011
Only a year after the company launched, we released several plugins and customised solutions for brokers that catered to needs nobody else in the market was addressing at the time.
The products quickly won over the market, providing a simple yet effective solution to the existing challenges. One of them, the Exact Copier, precisely replicated trades instantly from one account to another. The Group Trades Copier simultaneously copied trades from one master account to several follower accounts. MLAC (Multi-Level Agent Commission) enabled brokers to create complex hierarchical rebate structures with the MetaTrader Manager.
White Label offer
2014
Focusing on expansion, Tools for Brokers launched a number of products and services, and we onboarded our first White Label clients.
The White Label service became a staple among our clients and remains very popular today. The concept is great – startup brokers get access to an advanced technical infrastructure almost instantaneously for a fraction of the cost without needing technical skills. New brokers can jump right into a brokerage’s business side, leaving the rest to experienced professionals.
TFB PAMM solution
2017
More investors were looking for ways to earn from trading, but didn’t have the skills. Money management was something that people were curious about, but there were not many solutions for it at the time. The existing ones didn’t meet modern requirements, so we saw the potential and launched TFB PAMM.
TFB PAMM is an enhanced money management system that helps brokers increase trading volumes and expand their client base by catering to Investors and experienced traders (Money Managers). The launch of TFB PAMM was a big step towards creating an ecosystem of solutions, which today has the Trade Processor liquidity bridge at the heart of it. TFB PAMM quickly became popular among brokers who looked to differentiate themselves from the competition by providing complementary services and covering more of their clients’ needs.
Cyprus office
2017
Cyprus has been the heart and soul of the trading world for several decades, and it was imperative to have a local base there. We already worked with many partners and clients based in Cyprus, so in 2017, we launched an office there to establish our presence in the region.
Today, the Cyprus office is bigger than ever. It houses a large team of professionals who help our clients and partners tackle their technical needs, enhance business growth, and expand their brokerages’ potential with technology.
Trade Processor bridge
Oct 2018
The market was overtaken by rigid liquidity bridges for many years, blocking brokers from access to the backend and leaving them no choice in where the system was hosted and how it was set up. To address this issue, we launched the Trade Processor.
Trade Processor, the beloved margin engine and liquidity bridge, was launched, changing TFB’s trajectory forever. Trade Processor was a revolutionary product because it provided brokers visibility into and control of the settings and configuration. This is something that very few vendors do to this day. The solution changed how brokers managed their operations and gave them more autonomy and agency over how they run their business.
London office
2019
The UK market has always played an essential role in the global trading ecosystem. And as the years went by, and we dealt with our UK and EU partners and clients more and more, we couldn’t wait any longer and decided it was time to launch an office in one of the world’s financial centres.
Having started with only a couple of people in 2019, the London office eventually expanded and now boasts a large team of professionals supporting and managing our clients in the UK, the Middle East, and the Americas. The UK team works with many established, global brokerages that also have a presence in the United Kingdom, allowing us to partner seamlessly and always be there should anything arise.
Weekend FX trading
2021
In 2021, we made some noise in the market again by launching our Weekend FX trading solution in partnership with LMAX.
Traders had long been demanding a solution to trade outside of traditional hours, and as the world moved more towards 24/7 trading, we launched a solution that did just that. Weekend FX enables clients to trade when FX markets are closed and make the most of their free time and resources.
TFB Toolbox launch
2022
By 2022, TFB’s portfolio of plugins and applications had grown, and it was time to find a better way for our clients to manage them all easily and conveniently.
That’s when the TFB Toolbox was born – a powerful solution that offered brokers an enhanced experience with their TFB tools. Now brokers could manage all their plugins and applications through a single user-friendly interface and use additional functionality, such as an admin portal, quick ad-hoc changes to the settings, live logs, real-time notifications, four access levels, and more.
Singapore office
2022
In 2022, we opened the doors of our Singapore office to be closer to our partners and clients in the APAC region. Historically, TFB has always worked closely with companies from all around Asia, and the Singapore office was a logical step and a testament to the region. The local team spends a lot of time travelling across the countries, helping our clients, and we plan to expand further by growing the team there even more.
Easy migration to Trade Processor
2022
One of the biggest challenges for brokers is to move from the previous solution to the next. The migration process can be so draining that brokerages remain stuck with tools that no longer serve them.
We wanted to help our clients transition to Trade Processor as smoothly as possible, so we launched the FIX API emulator. This powerful instrument helps brokers migrate to Trade Processor with ease. It ensures nothing is lost along the way and dramatically reduces the inconvenience of replatforming.
Tbilisi office
2023
Global operations require a global presence, and in 2023, we continued our team’s expansion by launching an office in the capital of Georgia. The Tbilisi office houses developers, support specialists, a sales team, and many other employees who work daily to provide the best service to our clients and partners .
Prop Trading offer
2023
In 2023, we officially launched our offer catered specifically to prop trading companies. The prop trading industry was going through a renaissance, and the standard broker offers no longer cut it. The tailored solution for prop firms ensured all their core needs were met, plus they had access to numerous solutions that would optimise their workflows and boost efficiency.
The Prop Trading offer combines everything a prop trading company might need: a comprehensive stack of technical solutions provided by TFB, and additional tools, such as CRM systems, leaderboards, and affiliate systems offered by our trusted partners.
Dubai office
2024
Our final (for now) office launch happened in 2024 in Dubai. The region has been steadily growing and developing as the new fintech hub. Since we had a growing number of partners there, and to support our ambitious growth plans, we decided to establish a stronger presence in the region with the office launch.
We are dedicated to the MENA region and have big plans in the coming years: local team expansion, stronger market presence, exciting events, and so much more.
Extended WL offer
2024
As the market changed and demand for new trading platforms increased, so did our focus on providing clients with all the possible options. In response, Tools for Brokers pioneered the multi-platform approach for liquidity bridging. In 2024, we expanded our cTrader offering with a dedicated cTrader White Label package that helped many aspiring brokers launch operations quickly and make the most of the market opportunities.
We also partnered with SALVUS Funds, a leading advisory firm for compliance. We created a joint package allowing brokers access to complete services to launch their business.
Customer Portal launch
2025
TFB technical support is well-known and highly-regarded in the industry. We have always focused on keeping the team knowledgeable and experienced, so our clients and partners get the best help possible.
In 2025, we launched the customer portal to help us maintain an excellent client experience. It gives TFB clients access to unique and valuable materials, and helps them manage and track company-wide technical requests, questions, and issues raised.
