Faster migration to Trade Processor: meet the latest version

We have recently announced the release of the new edition of the Trade Processor liquidity bridge, and we’d like to tell you more about the exciting new functionality.

As always, the new release features multiple backend upgrades and enhancements that keep the solution robust and scalable. In addition to that, there are several feature updates that we’d like to share more about in this email.

New feature: FIX API emulator

The FIX API emulator is a new functionality that seamlessly helps brokers move to Trade Processor from alternative solutions.

Within the emulator, new FIX API protocols have been created to avoid having to do additional coding and configuration before the migration launches. Now, brokers will spend less time and effort moving to Trade Processor from other key market players. With the new functionality, there are fewer risks and costs associated with migration, removing this obstacle for brokers willing to switch their technology.

New LP type: SyntheticIndex LP

The SyntheticIndex LP is the new type of LP added to the Trade Processor liquidity bridge. It helps brokers create custom indexes for combining symbols in the Trade Processor. To get the needed indexes, clients can use source-symbol quotes multiplication or addition, set coefficients, and tick size steps. The index summary and quotes preview are available for review via a user-friendly interface.

Improvement: On-the-fly actions with aggregation feeds and platforms

Brokers will no longer need to restart their server to apply any actions with aggregation feeds or platforms in the feeding configuration. Instead, changes will be applied instantly. At TFB, adding LPs and new instruments was always quicker than many brokers were used to. Now it is instant. Not having to restart the server means avoiding downtime, which can be a huge burden, even if it’s only a couple of minutes.

For example, without having to restart, Trade Processor will be able to subscribe to LP symbol quotes and start supplying them to a platform, create new aggregated feed and feeding platforms, change primary/backup aggregated feeds for a feeding platform, and change feeding markups.

Improvement: Alerts delivery system extension

At TFB, we not only work on releasing new functionality but also actively upgrade and enhance existing tools.

The TP alerts delivery has become even more flexible with the new alert delivery medium, Telegram, and the new event type Failed CE added to the system. Now brokers have more flexibility with how they receive alerts and get notifications about a broader range of events.

Technical updates

Among the technical updates that we’d like to share with you today are:

  • Improved order execution logging for better execution transparency.
  • Option to execute MT4 ManAPI orders at MT4 market watch price.
