What’s new in Trade Processor: statistics, filters, enhancements, and more

Author: Baiana Kashaeva

Spooky season is here, and we have decided to kickstart it with a new edition of our clients’ favourite bridging solution — the Trade Proсessor (TP)

Trade Processor is an enterprise-ready solution, yet we always look for ways to make it an even better tool for brokerages. To make sure you are not missing out on TP updates, or any other important launches, you can subscribe to our newsletter here.

Our latest update touches on 5 main areas:

  • B-Book
  • filters for Routing and Execution
  • Gateway’s planned reboot
  • statistics on the web-interface
  • LP Performance

New B-Book options

Customers on the latest version will see 2 new fields in the B-Book settings in Trade Processor. Both are designed to provide extra flexibility and customization to trading.

We have added a Tick Threshold — a new delay option that collects all the ticks. If the threshold is configured, but parameters are not met, e.g., not all ticks are collected within the set timeframe, the order is rejected. The second addition is a new execution option — WorstMarketPrice. It can be selected in the ‘Execution Type’ field of the settings.

Those options serve as an alternative to the classic delay and price option for B-Book brokers willing to protect themselves from traders working on non-FX assets, such as futures or metals.

New filters for Routing and Execution

We have introduced the new routing filter to give brokers even more accuracy and flexibility with the rules.

Platform filter is particularly helpful for midsize and enterprise brokers with an extensive environment with many servers, who have the same policy for the group's name across all servers. Security filter is also designed to give more options and flexibility with configuration.

Gateway’s planned reboot

The planned reboot can be used by the technical teams during weekends or other times when markets are closed. It is a great tool to save precious time and avoid human error. Just schedule the reboot to run during a convenient time, and do not worry about it. With the planned reboot, your system will always be up to date.

We have added the information about the next planned reboots to the Gateway Settings panel so that clients can easily see if there are any reboots planned and the date reserved for it.

Statistics

Big part of this update is statistics on the web interface. This should significantly improve broker’s understanding of the trading data and help analyze it and adapt the strategy accordingly. We have added statistics for TP and Total Markups, LP and Platform price slippages, TP and Total Broker Profit. There is also now a History Page in Volume Transfer settings, as well as new filters: Source transfer price and Target transfer price. Using those filters, brokers avoid the price mismatch when moving from one LP to another.

We have also separated general monitoring and LP performance into 2 different sections on the main product menu for better detailing and an even more granular view.

LP Performance

When the broker gets the feed from LP1 and LP2, they can compare it by having access to spread to each pair, markup, and depth. It helps notice the difference by highlighting the best/worst price with logical colors (green and red). It is shown both in real-time and in history.
