Celebrating 15 years of innovation, trust, and client-centric growth: a conversation with Aleksander Ermachenko, software architect at Tools for Brokers (TFB).

As TFB marks its 15th anniversary, we’re highlighting the people behind the technology, those who’ve helped shape the products and culture that define who we are today. One of them is Aleksander Ermachenko, who joined TFB as a junior developer and grew into the role of software architect.

Starting out with curiosity and code

When Aleksander Ermachenko joined Tools for Brokers eight years ago, he was just getting started in his career. Fresh out of university and full of curiosity, he stepped into the role of junior developer. Today, he’s a software architect, and the person who’s helped shape one of TFB’s most important products: the Trade Processor.

“I’ve been working on the Trade Processor since day one,” Aleksander says. “Watching it grow, fixing issues, improving performance, it’s been a big part of my life.”

Growing with the company
But Aleksander’s journey isn’t just about personal growth. It’s also about what happens when a company invests in its people and builds a culture of problem-solving, learning, and doing things the right way.

“Almost everything I know professionally, I’ve learned at TFB,” he explains. “I’ve learned how to write clean, reliable code, how to design systems that scale, how to think about performance, not just in theory, but in real-world situations where it really matters.”

Building more than just software
Over the years, Aleksander has worked on a wide range of projects. Alongside Trade Processor, he’s helped develop internal tools like the Installer and worked on other products like Binary Options. But it’s not just about building software, it’s about building smart, stable solutions that help clients succeed.

“There have been moments I’m proud of,” he says. “Like when we found and fixed a client’s issue really quickly, or when we made the system run two or three times faster. Or when we built something that was completely new.”

Putting clients at the center
This mix of technical skill and care for the client is at the heart of how TFB works. “We always start by trying to understand what the client really needs,” Aleksander explains. “Sometimes they come with an idea, and it’s our job to turn it into something that works well, not just on its own, but as part of the whole system.”

That big-picture thinking is what makes TFB different. “We don’t just add features for the sake of it,” he says. “We look at how people actually use our products, what they need, and how we can make their work easier, faster, and more reliable.”

Looking ahead
What’s kept Aleksander motivated after all these years? The feeling that there’s always more to discover.

“There’s still so much to explore in the financial markets,” he says. “New tools to build, new problems to solve. That keeps things interesting.”

A mindset that lasts
He sums it up simply:
“At TFB, we don’t just build tools, we build an ecosystem that people can count on.”

Outside of work, Aleksander enjoys reading and traveling, quiet hobbies that reflect the same thoughtful, steady approach he brings to his work. And just like TFB, he’s always learning, always growing, and always looking ahead.
