As Tools for Brokers celebrates 15 years of innovation in fintech, we continue to spotlight the people who make our progress possible. This time, we’re meeting Bashar Muselli, who has been part of the TFB family for almost five years – a journey that reflects not only personal growth but also the company’s culture of trust, opportunity, and constant evolution.
From night shifts to new horizons
Bashar joined TFB as a Junior Technical Support Engineer. Over the years, his curiosity, technical drive, and passion for learning helped him grow into a Frontend Developer within the PAMM department – a shift that perfectly embodies TFB’s commitment to developing talent from within.
“I’ve had a lot of growth here,” Bashar says. “Not just in technical skills, but in how I work with teams, how projects are managed, and how communication flows between people.”
TFB’s supportive structure allows employees to evolve freely, discovering new interests and roles that match their potential. For Bashar, this meant turning his troubleshooting experience into a new career path in coding and development.
Creating tools, not just fixing them
When asked about his achievements, Bashar modestly mentions a few internal tools he built, before moving on to what really drives him: improvement.
“I always want to make things better,” he says. “Even small tools or scripts can make a difference, and at TFB, you’re encouraged to take initiative and build solutions, even if they start as side ideas.”
That sense of ownership reflects one of TFB’s core values: giving its people freedom to experiment, innovate, and create meaningful products that improve how brokers and fintech companies work every day.
Driving innovation together
Today, Bashar works in the PAMM team, helping move the product from an old codebase to a more modern development framework – a transformation he proudly championed.
“I was the one who lobbied for this,” he recalls with a smile. “And now, seeing it in progress makes me proud. It’s not just about rewriting code, it’s about improving how we work and build.”
This balance between technical excellence and collaboration is at the heart of TFB’s product philosophy. Engineers are trusted to guide the process, not just follow directions.
“We use a mix of classical development and a bit of ‘let the engineers actually do stuff correctly,’” Bashar says. “That’s why our products stand out, because people who build them have a real voice in how they evolve.”
Where ideas become inventions
For Bashar, TFB isn’t just about creating tools, it’s about inventing them.
“At TFB, we don’t just build tools. We invent them,” he says. “Many of our products start as internal ideas – someone notices a gap, comes up with a solution, and soon it becomes something that helps clients all over the world.”
That inventive mindset is a cornerstone of TFB’s 15-year journey – transforming complex challenges into smart, efficient solutions that empower brokers, hedge funds, and prop trading companies globally.
Balancing innovation with care
When it comes to client needs, Bashar recognises the delicate balance between innovation and responsiveness.
“Everyone wants to make clients happy,” he admits. “The great thing here is that we talk about client’s needs, we analyse it, and we always try to find a solution that works for both sides.”
This thoughtful approach – open communication, active collaboration, and respect for every idea, defines how TFB continues to grow while staying connected to the people behind the progress.
A curious mind beyond the screen
Outside of work, Bashar’s curiosity extends far beyond fintech. “I love learning new things, especially about astronomy and science,” he says. “And when I want to relax, I play games or watch movies and anime.”
Just like many at TFB, his curiosity and drive to understand how things work continue to shape not only his career but also the company’s spirit – one that thrives on learning, innovation, and the courage to invent.
