Smart aggregation

The MT4/MT5 liquidity bridge by TFB offers 6 different modes of aggregation to get the best liquidity, execute orders at the best prices, avoid discrepancies and minimise LP swaps simultaneously.

Advanced routing system

Every MT4/MT5 liquidity bridge can execute an order, but they all handle execution differently. With TFB’s execution engine, brokers get flexible configuration, smart routing, and other advanced tools for trading, such as automated volume consolidation that allows them to consolidate volumes between different liquidity providers and minimise swaps. Continuous execution is another trading instrument dedicated to large-volume order processing. With continuous execution, large orders can be split into smaller parts to get a better price for all the volumes they execute.

This allows brokers to achieve the best pricing with every execution, and at the end, all the pieces are put together, and the volume-weighted average price (VWAP) is calculated.

Best execution prices

As a result of powerful liquidity aggregation and flexible execution, brokers, hedge funds, and prop trading firms achieve the best pricing for their orders, regardless of the volumes, asset type, or market conditions.

Risk management

Risk management is the cornerstone of TFB’s MT4/MT5 liquidity bridge. Starting from the architecture and server allocation all the way to a comprehensive risk management system – everything is developed with security in mind.

The bridge’s advanced aggregation and execution options, along with a vast pool of liquidity provider partners, ensure orders get executed no matter what with minimal exposure and swap costs.

Automated A/B-book switch hedges trading risks during periods of high volatility, and the Backup LP tool provides brokers with uninterrupted execution. Built-in real-time data monitoring helps brokers monitor trends and prevent potential risks for brokers and their clients.

Advanced reporting and data management

Every broker, hedge fund, and prop trading firm needs simple and efficient data management. Automated reports help stay on top of the execution, market trends, and internal processes without adding much overhead.

By knowing what’s going on with the environment at all times, brokers can plan and adjust their market strategies to make the most out of available resources. Also, having regulatory reports at your disposal at all times ensures you stay compliant and minimises risks to the business.

FAQ

The two terms are often used interchangeably, and every company puts its own meaning into the terminology. In short, a liquidity gateway and a liquidity bridge imply the same technology. There is no real difference between the two regarding functionality or anything else.

Yes, Trade Processor has an embedded AI assistant to help clients get answers to their questions quickly instead of searching for answers in user guides. Currently, the AI solution is still learning, so we encourage clients to use it but double-check important information with TFB support before making any changes to the server.

The pricing is up to the market and liquidity providers, but the liquidity bridge has functionality that ensures brokers get the best pricing possible. For instance, smart aggregation and execution modes help to execute orders at liquidity providers with the best prices. Continuous execution helps to get a better price when it’s required to process large volume orders by splitting them into smaller parts. Backup LP functionality within the Trade Processor provides a continuous trading experience even during a primary liquidity provider freeze or downtime.

TFB technical support has plenty of experience migrating data from many different bridge solutions into the Trade Processor system. Our team will prepare a detailed migration plan to ensure the whole process will be smooth and seamless for you.

While the plan is being created we schedule a test migration to check that all aspects are considered and that all the system components are compatible with your trading infrastructure. After the successful test migration, we are ready to perform the actual migration in full over a weekend or in parts if there are too many orders/positions to migrate within one weekend.

The whole migration process with all the preparation steps, tests, and actual migration, usually takes about 2-3 weeks. However this might differ depending on the complexity of your setup and the volume of data to be migrated.

There are many features that are a must for modern liquidity bridge solutions. First, it needs to support multiple trading platforms so brokers and their clients can enjoy trading across several platforms and markets for maximised benefits and simultaneous risk reduction. Secondly, the liquidity bridge must be available to brokers for reconfiguration and customised settings. Otherwise, the broker is essentially dealing with a black box and can’t tune it to their personal needs. Besides that, every liquidity bridge needs risk management solutions to protect the entire trading process and data analytics to help brokers review their operations and comply with regulations.
