2020 at a glance: TFB results and achievements
Author: Alexey Kutsenko
The year 2020 was an interesting one. It caused devastation, but it has taught us a lot. It helped us become more resilient, driven, and focused. While not every our plan has come to life, there still have been many achievements that the TFB team is proud to share with you.
New corporate strategy
The focus of TFB over the last few years was on custom software development, and it has resulted in a strong portfolio of robust solutions. Throughout the work with our clients, we saw how beneficial it is to have a set of solutions that are all compatible with each other and complement one another. We have decided to take it to the next level and create an ecosystem.
With an ecosystem, the products are not just compatible but integrated into a single system that gives a broker a full picture of their environment, trends, and trader behavior. We will be sharing more about the new strategy throughout the year, so stay tuned for more.
The year 2020 has been a year of enhancing and perfecting our solutions. We have looked for ways to make the products even more powerful, user-friendly, and feature-rich for our clients. The teams worked hard on upgrading our Trade Processor, Brokerage Business Intelligence, TFB PAMM, and other solutions. Last year, we released several updates, and we have an even more exciting roadmap for 2021.
Not even a pandemic could stop us! The last 12 months have been the biggest for TFB in terms of revenue and client growth. We appreciate everyone who worked with us and look forward to seeing what the future holds for us.
The TFB team grew bigger. We have increased our team by 25% globally and opened a new office in Singapore.
Many employees have joined the company after the lockdowns have started. As a result, the entire onboarding process had to be virtual, and some of the team members have not yet seen each other in person. We have worked hard on making sure every TFB employee feels comfortable and welcome. One of the initiatives we did was hosting virtual team building sessions and quarterly online meetings to share our goals, big wins, and latest news.
The new way of working
If there is one good thing that 2020 has given the economy, it is the unprecedented digitalization of companies that would previously swear they would never go remote. Say what you want, but there’s no denying that the pandemic has pushed millions of people to learn new skills and programs, and taught them a new way of thinking.
Remote work was not a brand new concept for TFB. We have offices across the globe with people in the same teams spread out across different countries. Still, our way of working was very different compared to what we endured last year. Thanks to our fantastic team, we could fully switch to online within weeks, and our productivity levels have only gotten better.
We want to thank once again everyone who was a part of our journey last year. Whatever is upon us, we will continue to work hard and bring innovation to the brokers!
