TFB overview: 2021 in numbers

Author: Albina Zhdanova

The year 2021 was one to remember!

A lot has happened in the world, within the industry, and at Tools for Brokers in particular. This week, we would like to highlight some of TFB’s achievements and share our insight into field-related topics.

Last year we saw a steadily growing interest in TFB solutions. The total number of new clients signed in 2021 was 96, with the Trade Processor liquidity bridge being one of the most common requests.

The Trade Processor volumes grew in comparison to 2020 by 116%.

One of the trends we noticed in 2021 is a rapid growth of interest in MetaTrader 5. Indeed, it was also a trend in 2020, but last year showed an acceleration in brokers’ migration to the latest MetaTrader platform.

Naturally, this was reflected in the number of MetaTrader 5 solutions that brokers were interested in. As a result, MT5 requests were responsible for over 47% of the total sales requests.

Platform requests

In terms of technical support, MT5 configuration, installation, and other how-to queries constituted 33.1% of the total requests. The TFB technical team offers consulting services to our clients, so this percentage excludes any issue-related questions.

The most popular solutions pair of 2021 was the Trade Processor and Group Exact Copier for MT5. Trade Processor is the flagship liquidity bridge solution, and the Group Exact Copier plugin is used for trades aggregation and trading exposure monitoring.

The top 3 products that TFB clients asked for and enjoyed the most in 2021 are:

1. Trade Processor, a powerful liquidity bridge for retail brokers.

2. TFB PAMM, an advanced money management solution.

3. Exact Copier (different from Group Exact Copier) that provides extended copying options.

Product requests

The largest number of solutions per one client is 12, including all flagship products and a selection of plugins for unique requirements. Tools for Brokers offers a wide range of products that ensure each brokerage can find a suitable solution for their individual needs.

And lastly, as for the support tickets, only 2.7% were related to bugs. This is an outstanding achievement that we are incredibly proud of. Testing and quality control play an essential role in our software development process. The R&D team do all they can to catch bugs or issues before a solution’s release. Yet, there is no such thing as perfect software, so anything missed falls into the 2.7% kindly reported by our clients.

We hope that you have enjoyed this little peek behind the scenes. And we are looking forward to many more achievements in 2022! If you have any questions about TFB solutions, please feel free to email us at sales@t4b.com.
