Building trust across borders: Gonzalo Muñoz on Client Success in the LATAM region

As Tools for Brokers celebrates 15 years of innovation and growth, we continue to highlight the people who make it all possible. This time, we sat down with Gonzalo Muñoz, Client Success Manager for the LATAM region, to talk about his journey, his team’s mission, and what makes working with clients in Latin America so unique.

Building relationships, not just solutions

Gonzalo joined TFB a year ago as part of the Client Success Department, where he and his team work closely with clients and other departments to ensure they make the most of TFB’s products. Since day one, his main focus has been strengthening TFB’s presence in Latin America – a region where trust, personal connection, and reliability are at the heart of every business relationship.

“The biggest project so far has been, and still is, breaking into the LATAM market,” Gonzalo says. “It’s not just about expanding our reach, it’s about creating meaningful, long-term partnerships built on understanding and trust.”

For him, client success goes far beyond technical support. It’s about truly listening, understanding each client’s unique challenges, and becoming a reliable partner in their growth.

“In LATAM, relationships come first. Trust is earned through consistency, transparency, and genuine human connection,” he explains. “At TFB, we don’t just build tools, we build relationships that help our clients grow with confidence.”

Learning every day

Gonzalo describes his time at TFB as a continuous learning curve that keeps him curious and motivated. “I feel like I haven’t stopped learning since day one,” he says. “TFB has taught me to approach complex situations differently, to set frustration aside, rely on my team, and see every challenge as an opportunity to grow.”

That mindset has been especially valuable when dealing with complex client cases. Gonzalo recalls several situations that seemed almost impossible to resolve but were turned around through teamwork, persistence, and clear communication. “Turning frustrated or doubtful clients into satisfied ones is something I’m really proud of. Those moments show the real value of what we do.”

The values that drive success

When asked what TFB stands for, Gonzalo doesn’t hesitate: reliability, innovation, and partnership. These values guide every interaction, both within the company and with clients.

“The strongest values I see daily are accountability, teamwork, and transparency,” he says. “Everyone takes ownership of their work, but we also help and support one another. There’s a real culture of openness that builds trust, and that trust is what defines our relationships with clients.”

This mindset shapes how the Client Success team operates globally. Their goal is to be true partners – proactive, engaged, and always ready to listen. “Our combination of technical expertise and human touch is what makes the difference,” Gonzalo adds.

Looking ahead

As TFB steps into its next chapter, Gonzalo is excited about the future both for himself and for his clients. “I’m looking forward to continuing to learn and grow while helping my clients succeed. Every challenge is a chance to strengthen relationships and show what partnership really means.”

Beyond work

When he’s not working, Gonzalo finds balance through creativity and movement. He enjoys CrossFit, running, painting, and playing tennis (when time allows), and loves discovering new art exhibitions in London. For him, creativity outside work helps bring fresh perspective and energy to his professional life.
